BOYS TO MEN FOUNDATION

​The Boys To Men foundation  believes that school-based mentoring yields numerous positive outcomes for our BTM youth. Our research indicates that the program can:

Improve overall academic performance, with significant gains in science and written and oral language.
Enhance the quality of classwork.
Increase the number of homework and in-class assignments submitted.
Reduce serious school infractions, such as disciplinary referrals, fighting, and suspensions.
Boost students' perceptions of scholastic competence.
Decrease instances of skipping classes.

Additional research shows that mentored students develop more positive attitudes toward school, are more likely to trust their teachers, and gain higher levels of self-confidence and a greater ability to express their feelings.
